The Canadian winter.
From day to day you feel that the upcoming coldness is going to be approaching soon. For me it already feels like the onset of the ice age. But unlike me , Canadians do not seem to be able to await for
the wintertime.
If the temperature drops, the blood pressure will rise , and then it says :
"It's time for hockey!"
As soon as my trip to Toronto was certain, I bought two tickets for the Toronto Marlies .The second card got Lewis, whom I had met before in Montreal.A Brit and a German go to a hockey game. Sounds like the beginning of a good joke.
And I can tell you, it 's damn hard to follow the game.Although I have previously diligently scoured Youtube videos to learn a few rules, I had the feeling that was completely unnecessarily .
Rule # 1: There must be a fight!
Rule # 2 : That's it.
My thoughts of stereotypes were never been so much confirmed , as on this evening.
seeing men fighting-Is there anything better ?

Toronto Island
Musste kurz an "The Blair Which Project" denken.
Toronto.

Toronto Island
Now to Toronto itselfToronto is the ugliest city I 've seen so far in Canada.
During my excursion through the city, I noticed that it's just gray and cold .The architecture has neither history nor heart. It's an emotional vacuum.I've seeked a long time for a sign of nature, or at least something green, but it seems as if the genius planning officer forgot the main point .The idea that one can visit an aquarium in the middle of the city for seeing sharks and beluga whales, is horrible and repulsive. Of course I decided not to go there.
That and many other points were the reoson why I came to the conclusion to avert Toronto.
So I got on the ferry .Drove about 15 minutes to Lake Ontario and Toronto visited Iceland .
My luck was that I visited the island out of season. That means no single soul in sight. No one .
Me alone .
The beach and me .

Feeling the sand and listening to the waves felt like a day on a desolated island in the South Seas . If there wasn't the fact that the Termometer indicated -7 ° C .
Toronto Island is occupied by nothing but hippies, who fled the big city to live in their small community. As I wandered through the forest, I've found a few voodoo stone circles. Had a short "The Blair Which Project" tought.
Despite the cold temperatures and the fact that it nearly freezed my ass, it was one of the most beautiful days in
Toronto.
